Ronald Duaine Merritt

Ronald Duaine Merritt, 52, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Berean Free Will Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri. Local arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Ronald was born on December 12, 1958, in Cabool, Missouri, to Herbert and Maryella Merritt. He was a resident of Dumas, and was employed as an operator by Continental Carbon Company. Ronald was a beloved and devoted son and father. He was of the Baptist Faith. His hobbies included listening to music and basketball. He loved the outdoors, and often helped his neighbors with their yard work, etc. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ronald is survived by his parents, Herbert and Maryella Merritt of Missouri three daughters, Rachel Driver and husband Ryan of Arlington, Heather Merritt and husband Huy Huynh of Arlington, and Randi Merritt of Durango, CO two sisters, Kathy Shields and husband Brian of Independence, MO, and Debbie Boston and husband Mike of Lees Sumit, MO one grandson, Landon Huynh of Arlington and numerous nieces and nephews. The family of Ronald would like to express their sincere appreciation to Patty Gonzalez for her loving care and support during his illness.
