Rosa E. Hernandez

Rosa Hernandez, 67 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o'clock in the evening on Wednesday. October 31, 2018 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Rosa was born on April 15, 1951 in Meoqui, Mexico to Ramon and Guadalupe Ortega Serrata. She was married to Fernando Hernandez; he preceded her in death on November 25, 2012. Rosa was a loving and devoted homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends In addition to her husband, Fernando, she is preceded in death by her grandson: Hernan Torres. Rosa is survived by her children: Susana Hernandez Fernando Hernandez, Jr., Angelica Hernandez, Daena Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez, Octavio Hernandez, and Jesus Hernandez; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
