Rosy Reyes, 49, of Etter, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 o'clock in the morning on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Alejandro Vacio as celebrant and Father Gabriel Cardiel, Father Adan Vallejo and Father Gabriel Garcia assisting. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Rosy was born on March 4, 1968 in Mexico to Agustin Vacio and Alejandra Longoria. She grew up in Mexico and on September 2, 1989, she married the love of her life, Lupe Reyes. The couple would move to Etter where they raised their children and made their home for the last 27 years. Rosy was a very caring person who had a special way of making people smile and was always helping others. She taught fitness classes at both the YMCA in Dumas and Cactus Rec Center, she was also the owner of Amigo's Bar and Grill in Cactus. Rosy had a special place in her heart and adoration for her children, they were her life. She was a member of St Lawrence Church and will be missed by all the people whose life's she touched.
Her father precedes her in death.
Rosy is survived by her husband, Lupe; children: Daniel Reyes of Dallas, David Reyes and Annabel Reyes both of Etter; her mother: Alejandra Vacio; her second mother: Consuelo Vacio Almanza and husband Francisco; siblings: Irma Marquez, Augustine Vacio Longoria, Luis Vacio Longoria, Jacinto Vacio Longoria, Alejandro Vacio Longoria and Manuel Vacio Longoria.
