Roy G. Ockerman

Roy Garland Ockerman, 89 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015. A Family Visitation is scheduled from 1 o\x92clock to 3 o\x92clock in the afternoon on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Private family interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Roy was born August 22, 1925, in Keifer, OK to Martin L. and Bess B. (Gant) Ockerman. He was united in marriage to Frances Nichols in Tulsa, OK in 1949. Roy had been a resident of Dumas since 1952 and was employed with El Paso Natural Gas Company for many years until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances; son: Terrence; three brothers and two sisters. Roy is survived by a son: Frank Ockerman and Nedra of Lake Eufaula, OK; grandson: David Ockerman and wife Robin of Shallowater, TX; great-grandson: Oakley and great-granddaughter: Delaney; sisters: Dorothy Bell and Patty Jo Groover of Tulsa, OK.
