Ruth R. Burnett

Ruth R. Burnett 94 passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Benjamin D. Seller, pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Ruth Burnett was born June 13, 1913 in Moore County, Texas and had been a resident of Moore County all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Burnett; her Son, Gordon Cummings and her Daughter, Donna Thompson. Survivors include; step-son David Burnett of Dumas; daughter-in-law Rose Cummings of Amarillo; Six grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.
