Ruth Kreutziger, 96 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10:30 in the morning on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Miller, III, officiating. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Ruth was born on April 28, 1920 in Optima, OK to Augustus and Martha (Klingsik) Gieselmann. She married Harlan Kreutziger on September 4, 1938 in Hooker, OK; he preceded her in death in 2009. Ruth was an avid quilter until she was unable and then knitted dishrags. Ruth was a loving and devoted homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband Harlan, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Carissa Miller in 1987.
Ruth is survived by her children: Darryl Kreutziger and wife Pat of Dumas, Mark Kreutziger and wife Mona of Midland, Carol Miller and husband Cliff of Dumas, and Sharon McCullough and husband L.C. of Bozeman, MT; grandchildren: Scott McCullough and wife Wendy, Lisa Kreutziger Mead and husband Stephen, Dwayne Kreutziger, Amber Everett and husband Taylor, Angela Miller, Chance Miller; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 207 S Meredith, Dumas, TX 79029.
