Sandra Sue Nunnelley, 72, of Dumas passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Morrison Memorial Chapel, with Jonathan Zerby, minister of Sunray Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Sandra was born on January 7, 1945 in Childress, TX, to Sam Houston and Pearl (Rea) Wrinkle. She moved to Dumas where she lived with her sister Annette. Sandra worked at Memorial Hospital where she registered people in the emergency room. She was a member of the Sunray Church of Christ.
Sandra loved to play the piano and was a very happy person. She always seemed to be smiling even when times were tough. Sandra loved her family and would visit everyone, especially her mother and father, as often as she could. She loved Elvis and would collect any Elvis memorabilia.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Peggy Mink; and a grandson: Patrick.
Sandra is survived by her sons: Alan Nunnelley of Amarillo, TX, Sean Nunnelley and wife Cindy of Dallas, TX: sisters; Beatrice Costlow of Dumas, TX, Betty Benson and husband Bob of Snyder, TX, Patsy Hubanks and husband W. J. of Childress, TX, Annette Ray of Dumas: brother; Sammy Wrinkle of Midland, TX; grandchildren: Courtney, Amanda, Whitney, Shane and Kyle; and great-grandchildren.
