Sandy Rhoades

Sandy Rhoades, 76 of Dumas passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sandy was born on October 21, 1947 in Holdenville, OK to T.H. “Pokey” and Martha (Shupert) Rhoades. He grew up in Dumas where he attended school. After school, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served in Fischbach with the bomb depot and later as a MP. After his honorable discharge, he went to work at JBS for over 25 years as a forklift mechanic. Sandy enjoyed hunting, fishing and noodling. He also enjoyed working on old cars. Sandy was of the Christian Faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers: Johnnie and Wayne Rhoades.

Sandy is survived by his children: Dahnald Wayne Rhoades and wife Paula of Detroit, TX, Mark Rhoades of Dallas, TX, Chad Rhoades and wife Amber of Dumas, TX; brother: Jimmie Rhoades and wife Joyce of Woodward, OK; 7 grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
