Sayroth Khotsouvanh, 68 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Phananivong, Rev. Boon Vongsurith and Rev. Bounheng Phongpraphanh, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.
Sayroth was born on March 10, 1955 in Laos to Ouane Khotsouvanh and Toom Vongprathoum. He moved to America with nothing but big dreams and plans. Sayroth and his wife worked hard with many trials and tribulations for many years to achieve this dream of running their own food service business. He and his wife opened Lao Sticky Rice in 2005. This dream was also for his children and grandchildren to make sure they had the best life. Sayroth never failed to help the community anytime when in need. His love was for his family and cars. Sayroth was always positive in life bringing laughter to the ones around him with his many jokes.
He proceeded in death by his father: Ouane Khotsouvanh; mother: Toom Vongprathoum; siblings: Bounyang, Bounkeuth, Thau, and Keo.
Sayroth is survived by his wife Bee Khotsouvanh; daughter: Bea Khotsouvanh Buss her husband Boyd Buss and their son: Preston from Wisconsin, daughter: Diane Sikhom her children Yoshi, Simon, and Annabel from Texas, son: Tony Sikham and his wife Alex Sikham and their children Emelia and Thea from Texas; brother: Thoune Vongprathoum from Louisiana; sister: Vanh Hadda from Canada; nephews: Win Moungnarath from Texas, Anuvat Hadda from Louisiana, Mounthana Vongprathoum from Louisiana, Thavone Vongprathoum from Texas, Sonexay Vongprathoum from Louisiana; nieces: Keo Keopraseuth from Texas, Somboune Hart from Texas, Inthava Wilson from Texas.
