Scott Wilson Anderson

Scott Wilson Anderson, 51 of Sunray, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Sunray Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Houston and Rev. Darrell Wait officiating.  Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Scott was born on January 1, 1972, to Larry and Kim (Bryan) Anderson in Dumas, TX. He grew up in Sunray and graduated from Sunray High School.  Scott enjoyed reading, drawing, hunting, fishing, and cooking for his family.  He was a very talented individual.  He also enjoyed working in his yard.  Scott was united in marriage to Cheryl Foard on July 16, 2022, in Dumas, TX at the First Christian Church.  He was a member of the Sunray Baptist Church and was currently attending First Christian Church.  Scott was a supervisor at JBS and enjoyed his taxidermy business, Wild Wings Taxidermy.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Marlene Bryan and Gilbert and Beryl Anderson; nephew: Joseph Zavala.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cheryl Anderson of the home; children: Jessica DeLao and wife Jamie of Billings, MT, Liam Wilson Anderson of Sunray, TX, Chelsea Callicoat of Oklahoma; parents: Larry Anderson and wife Kim of Sunray, TX; brother: Shane Anderson and wife Julie of Fritch, TX; parents-in-law: Bennie and Sharon Foard of Childress, TX; sister-in-law: Janie and Danny Crelin of Wylie, TX.; and numerous other extended family members.
