Sean Anthony Lee Carothers

Sean Anthony Lee Carothers, 31 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Fobbs, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sean was born on Jun 11, 1993, in Baytown, TX to Ed Carothers and Judy Thrasher. At a young age he moved to Dumas where he graduated high school. Sean was an avid motorcycle rider and more recently had become very involved in bike riding. He was currently training for the Texas Tumbleweed 100 mile course and eventually the Tour de France. He enjoyed grilling steak and chicken along with eating sweet potatoes. His biggest joy was his daughter, he absolutely adored her. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; nephews, Zakery and Luke; grandparents: Levi and Maxine Thrasher. 

Sean is survived by his daughter: Seraphina of Stratford, TX; brother: Shane Sachitano of Dumas, TX; best friends Trevor and Vern along with a host of close friends that considered him family.
