Selene Bernal

Selene  Bernal, 48 of Dumas passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Brendan Fuentes, a close friend of the family, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Selene was born on October 23, 1973. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1976 and graduated from Dumas High School. Selene went on to attend OPSU and OSU. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns as well as 80’s music. Selene loved Thanksgiving and being outdoors with her family. Her daughters were her world; she adored them. Selene will be forever loved and remembered by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Selene is survived by her daughters: Kassondra De Leon and significant other Sam Thompson of Dumas, TX; Destinee Belden and fiancé Reagan Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, Brittney Belden and partner Mychael Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mariah Belden of Amarillo, TX; brother: Jesus Vara.
