Sergio Ortiz

Sergio Ortiz, 39 of Dumas passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. The family will receive friends from 2 o’clock to 6 o'clock on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Cremation will be under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sergio was born on August 18, 1984 Odessa, TX to Artemio and Margarita (Nieto) Ortiz. He married Mindy Valenzuela on September 22, 2023, in Dumas. Sergio was currently working at Car Services in Cactus, TX. Sergio was a very humble man who had a big heart of gold. He was known for being a jokester and enjoyed video games. He was of Christian Faith and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother: Rene Nieto.

Sergio is survived by his wife, Mindy of the home; daughter: Serina Ortiz; sons: Sergio Antonio and Julissa V Ortiz; sister: Mary Nieto; father: Artemio Ortiz and wife Rosalba; stepdad: Oscar Vargas; brothers: Artemio Ortiz, Jr. and wife Melissa, Carlos Ortiz and wife Berenice, Ivan Ortiz and wife Madaline Villareal, Eric Ortiz and wife Aniyah, Saul Ortiz and fiancé Jasmine Jumma.
