Sheila Kay McKinney

Sheila Kay McKinney, 69 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. A Private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sheila was born on December 15, 1955 in Littlefield, TX to Roy Alvin and Jennel (Tinker) Nipp. She married Jack McKinney on June 25, 1976 in Acuff, TX. Shelia was a very hard-working women who was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family. Her hobbies included diamond painting, crafts and working on her jigsaw puzzles. Sheila was of Christian Faith and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Bruce McKinney; brother: Jerry Nipp.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home; son: R.J. McKinney and wife Michelle of Lubbock, TX; daughter: Teresa Byford and husband Chris of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Christian Byford and wife Destiny, Anthony McKinney, Sierra Rios and husband Robert, Kelsey McKinney; great-grandchildren: Mia, Jeremiah, Olivia, Mateo, Alliyah, Oaklynn, Nico, Isabella.
