Shirley Elaine Pattie

Shirley Elaine Nanny Pattie, 68, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church officiating, assisted by John Brice. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will hold a visitation at Morrison Funeral Directors on Wednesday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Shirley was born on September 30, 1942 in Dumas, Texas to Carl Henry and Opal Orene Henderson. She married Winston Darnell Pattie in 1995 in Amarillo. They have shared their life in Amarillo for the last seventeen years. Shirley was an assistant operator for Diamond Shamrock Valero until her retirement. Her favorite pastime was going to Santa Fe and playing the slots. Shirley was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include: husband, Winston of the home two daughters, Denise Bishop and husband Perry of Lindale, TX and Angela Pullen and husband Dwayne of Amarillo two sons, Dale Eslick and wife Debbie of Spearman and Duane Pattie and wife Gina of Amarillo two sisters, Lois Smith of Dumas, who was her twin sister, and Barbara Black of Elkhart, KS one aunt, Ruth Tucker of Wheeler8 grandchildren 6 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces nephews. The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
