Stephanie Rachelle Young

Stephanie Young, 18, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Temple Baptist Church in Dumas. Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of the church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Stephanie was born on July 25, 1992 in Pampa, Texas to Shawn and Tina Marie Young. She attended Dumas schools and graduated from Dumas High School in 2010. She was employed by WalMart as a cashier, where her bright smile and bubbly personality brightened her customers day. Stephanie was very outgoing and loved to socialize with all of her friends by texting on her cell phone and on Facebook. She went to the Texas Lions Camp and really loved it. She attended Temple Baptist Church. Stephanie was a beloved daughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends. Stephanie is survived by her mother, Tina Young of Dumas her father, Shawn Young of Canadian one halfbrother, Andy Young of Canadian and her grandparents, Al and Sue Lehman of Briscoe and Pat and David Young of Canadian. The family suggests memorials be to The Epilepsy Foundation of West Texas, 1411 E. Amarillo Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79107.
