Stephen Richard Griffin, Jr.

Stephen Richard 'Dickie' Griffin, Jr., 75 formerly of Dumas passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Amarillo. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Stephen was born on June 9, 1942 in Panhandle, TX to Stephen and Susie Mae (Erskine). He lived in Amarillo for many years where he worked at Harris Custom Homes up until he retired. In his spare time Steven loved playing the bass guitar and enjoyed being with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Frances Elaine Steen; and brother: Cloyd Griffin. Stephen is survived by two sons: Robert Griffin and Richard Griffin both of Amarillo; two daughters: Stephney Bennett of Amarillo and Tina DeLaRosa of Lewisville; a sister Shirley Bailey of Dumas; a brother Gaylon Griffin of Grandbury; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family will be at 5705 Rd S in Dumas, Texas.
