Steve Christopherson

Steve Christopherson, 69 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.  Memorial services are scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Fobbs, pastor of the church and Steve's son, officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Steve was born on March 9, 1956, in Amery, Wisconsin to Gary Ray and Shirley Lavonne (Johnston) Christopherson.  He was a long-time resident of Slaton where he worked in construction and was very well known as a master of the finishing blade.  Steve married Bridget Hampton on October 21, 1994, in Amarillo, TX.  Steve loved baseball and was an avid fisherman.  He was also a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

Steve is survived by his wife Bridget of the home; children: Nathan Fobbs of Ralls, TX, Chris Fobbs and wife Jessica of Dumas, TX, El Centeno and wife Amanda of Lubbock, TX and Betty Cruz and husband Wes of Holdenville, OK; grandchildren: Cash, Jace, Cason, Chloe, Mackenzie, Ava, Anistyn and Trae.

The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas TX 79029.
