Steven Anthony Zavala

Steven Anthony Zavala, 39 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Steven was born on January 22, 1985, in Dumas, TX to Vicente Zavala and Maria Jurado. He grew up in Dumas and Stratford where he attended school. Steven worked at JBS and also building scaffolding. He enjoyed cruising, horror movies, working on cars, freestyle rap and video games. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents: Nena Jurado, Ramon Jurado, Eliseo Isaias, Vicente Zavala Salazar and Guadalupe Cervantes De Zavala. 

Steven is survived by his daughter: Haleigh Zavala of Dumas, TX; stepson: Yahir; siblings: Lisa Cortes and husband Jaime of Stratford, TX, Vicente Zavala and wife Yvonne of Amarillo, TX, Krystal Beltran and husband Omar of Dumas, TX; father: Vicente Zavala of Mexico; nieces and nephews: Chantal, Ivan, Jaymee, Angel, Joe, Gracie and Josh whom he loved dearly.
