Tammy Lynn Putman Shields, 54 of Dumas passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020. Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Tammy was born on May 14, 1966 in McAlester, OK to Wilma Dyer. She was united in marriage to Michael Shields on May 15, 1999 in Dumas. Tammy loved the Lord and was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Fritch, TX. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family very much. Tammy will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother; sister: Carol Jones; brothers: Louis Ray Putman, Bobby Gene Putman, and Jimmy Don Stewart; daughter: Jamie Dawn Hogue; and nephew: Danny Jones. Tammy is survived by her husband, Michael of the home: children: Matthew Hogue and wife Leanne of Elkhart, IN, Kristal Hogue and husband John, Chelsea Lenormand and husband Bruce, Kirston Swartz and husband Robert, Craig Shields, Damien Defries, and Marilyn Hardwick all of Dumas, TX; brother: Robert Stewart and wife Ginny of New York; sister: Marty Scott of Oklahoma; grandchildren: Justin, Caitlyn, Matthew, Madison, Renesmee, Azaela, Elizabeth, and Daniel. The family suggests, with gratitude memorials be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1872, Fritch, TX 79036.
