Teresa Aguilar

Teresa Aguilar, 59 of Cactus, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in the morning on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Wednesday at the church in Cactus. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Teresa was born on June 9, 1961 to Ernesto Aguilar and Luz Salcido in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a resident of Cactus for over 30 years. Teresa was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed playing la loteria, shopping and was known to be a workaholic. Teresa was also a very selfless person who would always be willing to help others. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Cactus. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Victor and Jose Aguilar. Teresa is survived by her children: Alberto Gutierrez of Amarillo, Brenda Aguilar Ramirez of Cactus and Ernesto Hernandez of Cactus; brothers: Alberto Aguilar of Mexico, Efren Aguilar of Denver, CO, Luis Aguilar of Cactus, and Enrique Aguilar of Mexico; sisters: Gloria Aguilar and Elizabeth Aguilar both of Mexico, Ernestina Aguilar of Amarillo, Patricia Aguilar of Cactus, and Corina Aguilar of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren: Zavian, Eethyn, Serenity, and Noah.
