Tessa Dawn Loper

Tessa Dawn Loper, 50 formerly of Sunray, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church in Sunray with Pastor Seth Seale, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Private family burial will take place in Lane Memorial Cemetery.

Tessa was born on July 2, 1974, in Greenwich, England to Larry and Elaine (Keith) Wilkins. The family moved to Sunray where Tessa graduated from Sunray High School in 1992. She later graduated from Amarillo College as a LVN. Tessa took great pride in her family and was very devoted to raising them. Her door was always open to anyone and many of her kids friends could always be found at her house. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She was also very crafty and started a business with her sister Mandy, Twisted Sisters. She was of Christian Faith and will be greatly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her mother: Elaine; grandson: Noah; grandparents: Freda Keith and Lloyd Keith.

Tessa is survived by her daughter: Shawnda Wilkins and Abel Ortega of Houston, TX; sons: Stefan Scroggins and wife Ashly of Sunray, TX, Shay Wilkins and wife Haley of Sunray, TX, Christian Loper and Addi Albracht of Fritch, TX; grandchildren: Carter, Kimbra, Braelee, Madilyn, Kennedy, Emersyn; siblings: Shawn Wilkins and wife Mary Alice of Midland, TX, Mandy Davis and husband Oscar of Sunray, TX and Lupe Ortiz and wife Elizabeth of Smithsville, NC; step father: Elias Ortiz.
