Tommy Joe Northcott, 72, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 in Pampa. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrell Wait, pastor of First Christian Church officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo with Rev. John Wagoner retired minister of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Tommy Joe Northcott was born February 20, 1937 in Pampa to Thomas Vernon and Selma Northcott. He was a member of the 1955 class of Lefors High School. On November 14, 1986 he married Janet Seale in Dumas. He moved to Dumas in 1977 and worked for Bob Cripps Construction Company and Diamond Shamrock Corp. He retired in 2003 from Valero and owned and operated Tommys Hotshot Trucking until 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-son Bobby Seale. Survivors include; his wife, Janet of the home; daughters, Brenda Bennett and Shannon Horn, both of Amarillo; sons, Ronnie and Timmy Northcott, both of Amarillo; step-daughters, Shelly Issa of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Annette Stark of Glasgow, KY; step-sons, Buddy Seale of Buda and Scott Seale of Dumas; sister, Glynda Pflug of Dumas; brother, Richard Butch Northcott of Canadian; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet, Koko. The family will be at 304 N. Bliss in Dumas.
