Troy Glen Ray, 84 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Sunray Church of Christ with Jonathan Zerby, pastor of the church, officiating. Family visitation will be from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home in Dumas. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Troy was born on April 30, 1931, in Altus, OK to Robert and Tennie (Harrison) Ray. In 1952, he married Annette Wrinkle in Childress, TX. He had been a resident of the community for many years. Troy was a hardworking man. He worked for Whites Auto Store for 33 years and eventually owned and operated Woody's Furniture for 17 years and continued to work there until he retired in 2010. Troy enjoyed bowling, golf, and softball in his younger days. However, his greatest joy was following his children and grandchildren through their athletic careers. He was a member of Church of Christ in Sunray and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded by his parents, and son: Benton Ray.
Troy is survived by his wife, Annette, of the home; sons: Glen Ray and wife Cathy, Clark Ray and wife Robbie all of Dumas; daughter: Tonja Bilbrey and husband Danny of Dumas; sister: Lou Ann Webb of Woodlands, TX; grandchildren: Erica Ray, Sammy Ray, Randy Ray, Jayna Ray, Alexa Ray, Curt McKnight, Wes McKnight, Brian Bilbrey, Tim Bilbrey, Benton Bilbrey, and Tiana Bilbrey; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 700 Phillips Dr.
