Truman Walters

Truman Walters entered heaven on Monday, December 18th, 2023. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Brown Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Walters will be available for viewing on Friday from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home in Sunray. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Truman was born at home in 1945 in Brown County Texas. He was a farmer earlier in life but became a truck driver, a job he loved. He served in the National Guard. He married Gail Matthews in 1967. They raised three children, Butch, Stacy and Donna. 

He was preceded in Heaven by his parents Carson and Whittie Walters, several brothers and sisters and his wife. 

He is survived by his children, Butch and wife Melissa of Austin, Stacy and husband Rockey of Stratford and Donna of Dumas. His 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way. As well as his brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
