Tye Brazell 20 passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Clarendon, Texas. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 1, 2008 at First Street Church of Christ with Vance Reeves, former youth minister and Darrel Robertson, former Spanish minister officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Tye was born July 13, 1988 in Amarillo, Texas to Richard and Judith Brazell. He attended Dumas High School and Champs at Fritch. When he was 16 he became a published author and had an article published in Moore County News, Amarillo Daily News, and Borger Herald. His article was pertaining to the problems of today's teenager. He was employed at LaQuinta Hotel in Amarillo and loved his job. Tye was a lifetime resident of Dumas.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Kimberlea Brazell, brother, Cody Brazell, both of the home; grandmother, Betty Crenshaw of Sunray; and grandfather, Tom Brazell of Kansas City, KS.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Brazell, grandfather, Joe Crenshaw, great-grandparents, Bert and Jessie Brazell, great-grandmothers, Thelma Eubank and Lillian Downey.

The family will be at 200 Elm in Dumas.
