Venita Brogdon

Venita Brogdon, 90 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Arkansas. Local arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Venita was born on October 19, 1921 in Many Islands, Arkansas to George and Verdie Wells Hatman. She was a loving and devoted homemaker. Her family was her life, and she loved them dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Verdie Hatman, her daughter, Clydean Walker and two sons, Albert Lee Woods and Leon Farrell. Venita is survived by two daughters, Kaye Mask of Canada, and Judy Walle of Dumas three granddaughters, Lisa Walle of Dumas and fianc Christopher Davis, Jessica Yisa and spouse Ola of Flint, Michigan, and Desiree Walker of Guymon, Oklahoma two grandsons, Desmond Harless of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Billy Wayne Maltbie of Houston two great granddaughters, Eni Ola Yisa of Flint, Michigan, and Lindsey Maltbie of Borger two soninlaws, Mark Walker of Guymon, Oklahoma and Ascencion Vasquez of Dumas and a special nephew, Lloyd Ray Satterfield of Norfolk, Arkansas. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The family will be at 327 N. Meredith in Dumas.
