Vera Jane Smith

Vera Jane Smith -88 passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 in New Braunfels, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Amarillo. Burial will be in Farris Cemetery in Farris, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Smith was born March 22, 1919 in Springer, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther James Smith, two children, Larry James and Mary Nan, one grandson, James Beryl Ferguson and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include; daughters, Bobbie Jack of Amarillo, Sandra Ferguson and husband, Kenneth of New Braunfels; five grandchildren, Vickie Flores, Valerie Chavez, Vera Shaw, Azure Tackert and Zackery Ferguson; eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
