br Vernice Vicki Rollo Hartman passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Dumas. Celebration of Vickis life will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at MorrisonMemorial Chapelwith Rev. Steve Villines, pastor of New Hope Worship Center officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. br Vicki was born January 18, 1944 in Crystal, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of five children born to William and Lillian Burnes Rollo. She owned and operated several nightclubs in the late 70s and 80s before attending nursing school and beginning a 20 year career as a certified medication assistant. She adored her 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Vicki had been a resident of Dumas since 1960. She will begreatly missed by all who knew and loved her. br She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Stewart and William Rollo, brother, L.A. Arvis Rollo, and her sister, Lucille Lucy Rollo. br Survivors include her son, Randy Mathews of Dumas; daughters Laqueta West, Brenda Barr and husband, Mike all of Dumas, Nicole Guidry of Dalhart; sister, Verna Donnelly; brother, Donald Rollo; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Bill Clark of Dumas; and numerous nephews and nieces. br The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224, E. 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029. br The family will be at 507 Pear in Dumas.
