Vernon "Buddy" Jackson

Vernon “Buddy” Jackson, 94 formerly of Stratford passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Buddy was born on February 26, 1930, in Altus, OK to Vera Jackson. He was united in marriage to Alana Davis on March 7, 1952 in Altus, Ok; she preceded him in death in 2004. Buddy was a hardworking man who loved farming. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Etter. 

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.

Buddy is survived by his son, David Jackson and wife Cindy of Stratford, TX; grandchildren: Colby Jackson and wife Rachale, Jeremy Jackson, and Louis Brown and wife Jola; great-grandchildren: Aurelia and Oliver.
