Vi White

Vi White - 80 passed away Friday, November 16, 2007 in Dalhart, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2007 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jake Armstrong, long time family friend from Tye, Texas, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Vi was born January 12, 1927 in Doyle, Oklahoma to Claude D. and Gladys Wells. On April 22, 1944 she married Murphy White in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1998. She worked many years as the manager of The Boutique and Treehouse Children's Shop. Vi had been a resident of Dumas since 1961 and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include; two sons, Dale White and wife, Reva, Larry White and wife, Debbie; three granddaughters, Dana Anderson, Amie Chollett and husband, Nick, Misty Seay and husband, Dan; grandson, Robby White and wife, Leslie; six great-grandsons, Ryan Kellerman, Gabe Anderson, Andrew White, Will Brown, Jacob Seay, Joshua Seay and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Brown. Memorials may be made to Safe Place, 306 7th St, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 704 Mills in Dumas.
