Vickie Lynne Elliott

Vickie Lynne Elliott, 70 of Dumas passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Seth Seale, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Vickie was born on February 8, 1954 in Amarillo, TX to Ed and Johnnie (Campbell) Sherley. She grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School in 1972. She married Bill Elliott on December 28, 1978 in Elko, NV and the couple made Dumas their home where they raised their family. Vickie worked at Anthony’s where she was the assistant manager. She loved to go camping, fishing with her family and spend time with her grandchildren. She was of Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; son: Billy Elliott and wife Kenley of Sunray, TX; daughter: Amber Johnson and husband Nathan of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Brylee, Barrett, John, Jimmy, and Cody; sisters: Donna Loukas and husband Benny of Amarillo, TX, Judy Fodor of Dallas, TX along with nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
