Victor Cobos

Victor Cobos Sr., 85 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7 oclock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 3 oclock in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Victor was born April 19, 1929 in Presidio, TX to Cruz Molinar and Ramona Lujan Cobos. He was united in marriage to Ester Valenzuela on April 19, 1948 in Monahans, TX. Victor was a hard working man that farmed for most of his life. He loved to fish, hunt, going to the casinos, but especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with Ester. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Victor was preceded in death by his mother and father, a brother Ben Cobos, a son Joseph Anthony Cobos, and a grandson Joe Bob Cobos and a halfbrother: Daniel Molinar. He is survived by his wife Ester of the home children: Victor Cobos, Jr. of Dumas, Raymund Cobos and wife Kim of Amarillo, TX, Mary Guevara and husband Fernando of Dumas, TX, Josie Torres and husband Ernesto of Amarillo, TX, Ramona Torres and husband Ruben of Fritch, TX, Sylvia Flores and husband Fernando, Robert Cobos and wife Annie, Lucy Gutierrez and husband Ralph all of Dumas, TX, Helen Gutierrez and husband Terry Pillers of Odessa, TX a brother: Cerilo Cobos of Phoenix, AZ halfbrothers and sisters: Nasario Molinar, Fernando Molinar, Elida Regalado, Ruben Molinar, Maggie Segura, Anita Lee, Robert Molinar, Mary Gonzalez, and Cruz Molinar and 157 grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreatgrandchildren with three on the way.
