Victor L. "Vic" Hutches, 68 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10 oclock in the morning on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Matt Matzke, pastor of First Street Church, officiating. Family graveside services will be held in the Vilas Cemetery in Vilas Colorado. Vic will be available for viewing on Tuesday from 6 oclock until 8 oclock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Vic was born on September 4, 1952 in Walsh, Colorado to Glen and Idrys (Hamilton) Hutches. Vic grew up in Vilas and graduated from Vilas High School. Vic honorably served his country for 2 years in the United States Army. Vic was united in marriage to Molly Molina in November 4, 1972 in Springfield, Colorado; the couple moved to Dumas in 1979 where they made their home and raised their family. Vic farmed in Moore County and absolutely loved his job. He also enjoyed fishing, gambling and a good country drive looking at the scenery.
Vic was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Preston Hutches.
Vic is survived by his wife Molly, of the home; children: Chad Hutches of Ft. Worth, TX, Tressa Gaddy and husband Jeff and Tanya Burk and husband Matt, all of Spring, TX; his mother, Idrys Hutches of Ulysses, KS; grandchildren: Jonathan Gaddy and wife Bailey, Josh Montanez, Brailee Gaddy, Brayson Hutches, Bentley Burk, Avery Hutches and Brynlin Burk; great grandchildren: Riggs and Ryland; sisters: Gale Henderson and husband Darrell of Santana, KS, Tammy Doyle and husband Craig of Ulysses, KS and Robyn Perdue and husband Heath of Lamar, CO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
