Viola Mae White

Viola Mae White, 88 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Plainview Cemetery in Plainview with Evangelist Dee Teel of Northwest Church of Christ in Plainview, officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Dumas from 5 to 7 in the evening on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Viola was born on August 6, 1926 to W.H. and Ruthie Haney. Viola had been a resident of the community since 1994. She was a caring and loving homemaker. Viola will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents her loving husband, Alvin Lee three daughters: Margaret Walden, Elaine Welch, and Tammy White. Viola is survived by five daughters: Margie Stephens of Taft, CA, Janet Poole and husband Truman of Floydada, TX, Minnie Green, Carolyn Reinart and husband Dean of Hereford, TX, Laura Gion and husband DeWayne both of Dumas a son: Olin Browning of OK twenty grandchildren twentytwo greatgrandchildren twentyfour greatgreatgrandchildren.
