Vivian LaTrice Garth, 92, of Dumas, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church in Pampa, officiating. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors.
LaTrice was born on June 5, 1926 to Author and Vivian Ward at their home in Fairview, TX. She married Wayne Garth on August 17, 1946 in Clovis, NM. The couple would reside in Circle Back, TX and then moved to Friona. The couple eventually moved to Dumas in 1966 where they would make their home. LaTrice was an avid housewife and mother. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she took care of the nursery for many years.
LaTrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and two brothers.
LaTrice is survived by her three sons: Mike Garth and wife Mary Lynn, Dirk Garth and wife Brenda, Tab Garth and wife Tommie; five grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sister: Helen Vinson.
