Walter Lasater

FORT WORTH - Walter Lasater, 74, died Saturday, September 23, 2006, in Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside services will be a 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at Dumas Cemetery, Dumas, Texas; Rev. Dana Moore, Pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Amarillo, Texas, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Lasater was born December 21, 1931, in Scranton, Arkansas, to Walter Maurice and Minnie Rozella McAlister Lasater. He was a former Dumas, Texas, resident but had lived in Fort Worth for 40 years. Survivors include a sister, Shirley Goldsmith of Amarillo, Texas, and a brother, Velton Hughes of Dumas, Texas.
