Wanda McKay

Wanda McKay 71 passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Wanda was born November 9, 1935 in Rising Star, Texas. On December 4, 1953 she married Harold McKay who preceded her in death on May 27, 1991. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1946. Wanda loved children and took care of many children in her home. Survivors include: two daughters, Jodi Montoya and husband, Lee of Dumas and LaQueta Burkeen and husband, JR of Shamrock; son, Ray McKay and wife, Des of Dumas; sister Dot McEntire and husband, Don of Dumas; eight grandchildren, Troy, Tammy, Traysha, Dustin, Casey, Brandon, Anjelica, and Felicia; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1501 Streit Dr. Amarillo, TX 79106. The family will be at 223 N. Porter in Dumas.
