She grew up in Olton, Texas, where she met her husband, Royse Morgan. They married on August 15, 1942, in Sayre, Oklahoma. They settled in Sunray, Texas, the very next day!

Wanda’s baking skills were equally impressive; she was well known for her beautiful cream pies. Her most rewarding act of service was raising their three children and managing the home.
After 62 years of marriage, Royse passed away. Wanda moved to The Craig in Amarillo in 2005. There, she made lasting friendships and eventually married John Runberg on March 29, 2007. John, unfortunately passed away on January 5, 2018.
