Wayne Admire

Wayne Admire, 82 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Graveside Services are scheduled for 12:30 in the afternoon on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Zane Powers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors Wayne was born on October 10, 1938 in Abilene, TX to E.B. and Emma (Gregg) Admire. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. While in the Navy he worked construction on wood plank ships. On December 31, 1973 he married Elaine Stetson. Wayne owned and operated Admire Remodeling and later worked for Admire Construction until his retirement. He was a man with numerous talents and skills and loved carpentry and woodworking as well as gardening. He also loved baseball and the NY Yankees. Wayne was of Christian faith and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Robert Admire. Wayne is survived by his wife Elaine, of the home; children: Randy Comeau of Dumas, TX; daughters: Cindy Heath and husband Eddie of Dumas, TX, Diane Picard and husband Hoss of Amarillo, TX, Jean Oakland and husband Dave of Millis, MA, Jennifer Cunha and husband Mike of Rockport, MA, Wendy Admire of Norman, OK, and Wayne Admire, Jr. and wife Kristen of Dumas, TX; brother: Troy Admire and wife Donnas of Claude, TX; sister: Joy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
