William Bill McReynolds

William "Bill" McReynolds, 92 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 1 oclock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Dumas Cemetery with Dewayne Gion officiating under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Bill was born on May 31, 1928 in Paducah, Kentucky to Willie and Lorene (Rushing) McReynolds. He married Margaret Althea "Skeet" Williams McReynolds on February 7, 1952 in Dumas, TX; she preceded him in death. Bill lived in Dumas from 1937 to 1961 at which time he moved to Perryton. He moved back to Dumas in 1985 after he retired from Diamond Shamrock as the District Superintendent over the Gas and Field Department. He stayed in Dumas until 1989 when he relocated to Amarillo. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ. Bill is survived by a niece, Kim Mixon of Amarillo, TX; special friend, Jean Christy of Amarillo, TX. The family would also like to thank two very special neighbors and caregivers, Samantha Silva and Cheryl Gehm.
