Yolanda Yoli Villa, 26, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 in Amarillo. Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, February 15 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Dumas. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16 at the church with Father Juan Carlos Barragan and Wayne Norrell officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Memorial Cemetery at Sunray. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Yolanda was born March 6, 1983 in Lamar, Colorado to Dagoberto and Maria Longoria. She attended school in Sunray and graduated from Sunray High School. She then attended Amarillo College for three years. On November 11, 2006 she married Leobardo Villa at Dumas. She was employed with Morrison Funeral Directors, and her sharp wit, gentle personality and attention to detail will be missed. She also worked forSunray CoOp. She loved butterflies and monkeys and the colors red, yellow and purple. Yoli was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Leo of the home sons, Christian and Jonathan of the home parents Dagoberto and Maria Longoria of Sunray sisters, Angela and Raquel Longoria brother, Jesus Longoria all of Sunray paternal grandparents, Felipe and Guadalupe Longoria of Mexico maternal grandparents, Jose and Rosa Martinez of Las Animas, CO several aunts, uncles and cousins.
